In this True Royalty Original programme we’re delving into the history books to examine the role of Queen consorts within the Royal Family and ask how Catherine, the Princess of Wales may choose to inhabit the role. Host Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is joined by historians Professor Kate Williams and June Woolerton who reveal how a number of Queen consorts emerged as popular and respected in their own right, including Katherine of Aragon who acted as regent for Henry VIII and fought against Scotland. Kate can be seen on tour this summer to promote her new book 'Regina: A New History of Women and Power' published in the UK on 4th June.
